Mission Statement
South Salt Lake PAL is a positive youth develop-ment organization that utilizes educational, athletic and recreational activities to:• create trust and understanding between police officers and youth
• provide mentoring opportunities to youth
• connect youth with strong and positive role models in the community
• encourage healthy decision making and self-esteem, and
• create and promote community partnerships and involvement.
Events
• NFL Flag Football - an after school program in the spring and fall for boys and girls, 12-14 years old.
• Youth Leadership Program - an after school program focused on community service.
• Street Hockey - events held throughout the summer at various community events.
• TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) - an after school program from August through May, focused on service.
• Jr. Jazz Basketball - after school, December through February, for boys and girls, 12-15 years.
• Various After School Programs - designed around substance abuse prevention and community service projects - Fridays at Lincoln Elementary

Showcasing the SSL Police Athletic League (P.A.L.) Boxers

Place: SSL Suazo Center (2825 S. 200 E)
Price: $5.00
The boxing event will showcase the PAL boxers and other local boxing clubs. All are invited to attend. Concessions will be available.
