Interested in CONVENIENT CURBSIDE RECYCLING? You can recycle junk mail, newspaper, cereal boxes, milk jugs, steel cans, foil, aluminum cans, tin cans and more! For more details, just click the recycling link on our Home Page or call 464-6711.

The City provides free weekly residential GARBAGE COLLECTION for residential customers (single family units and duplexes only). Please place your containers at curbside by 7:00 a.m. on your designated morning. The collection is scheduled as follows:

EXCEPTIONS: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day holidays. Everyone’s pickup day will be one day later that week. Pick-up times vary throughout the day according to contractor’s workload. If you have any problems with your pickup, contact Ace Disposal at 363-9995. To request extra cans for an additional fee ($18.00 every six months) or to report a damaged can, please contact Utility Billing at 483-6074 or 464-6711.

The City provides CURBSIDE CLEANUP twice a year. Residents may leave items/materials to be collected at the curb up to one week before the scheduled pick-up. Certain restrictions apply. Notices indicating dates for pick-up in your neighborhood will be delivered. These services are provided free of charge. For more information, contact the Street Department at 483-6045.

City residents can use the TRANSFER STATION located at 502 West 3300 South, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., SATURDAYS ONLY. In order to use the facility, residents will need to obtain a card from the Business Licensing Department at City Hall. For more information, contact Business Licensing at 483-6063.

YARD DEBRIS TRAILERS are available to city residents on a first come first serve basis. Trailers can be reserved at City Hall for $25.00. You can only put yard debris items in the dumpster. Please contact the finance department at 483-6000 for more information.
