HOW THE MONTHLY SEWER AMOUNT IS CALCULATED
Sewer averages are calculated every July 1st, the beginning of each fiscal year. Water used during the months of November-April are averaged, creating your individual sewer average. This average is then multiplied at the sewer rate. The current sewer rate is $3.30.
For example……

80 divided by 5 months = 16
Your new sewer average would be: 16
Multiplied at the sewer rate…….16 x $3.30 = $52.80
The amount you will be billed for sewer each month from July 1st to June 30th is $52.80. This will not change again until July 1st the following year when sewer averages are recalculated.
For new owners who do not have an average to base sewer on, your sewer average will be 10 per unit until own history earned.
