Medical Division
The Medical Division is responsible for the management of the Fire Departments medical programs including the ambulance program. The Division Officer serves as the Departments liaison to the medical community. The Medical Division Officer also prepares and manages the Departments Grant program, ambulance business, medical training, and Quality Assurance and Improvement.

Captain Jason Nicholl, M.S. EMT-P The Medical Division is responsible for the management of the Fire Deparments medical programs including the ambulance program. The Division Officer serves as the Departments liaison to the medical community. The Medical Division Officer also prepares and manages the Departments Grant program, ambulance business, medical training and Quality Assurance and Improvement. The Medical Division is managed by Captain Jason Nicholl. Captain Nicholl joined the Department in 2001 as one of the first Paramedics employed by the Fire Department. Captain Nicholl previously had spent three years with the Salt Lake County Fire Department and 11 years with a private ambulance company. Captain Nicholl has A.A.S. Degrees from Utah Valley University and Weber State University, a B.S. from the University of Utah, and an M.S. from Oklahoma State University. |
