Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Bowman
I am proud to serve the residents of South Salt Lake as the Deputy Fire Chief over Fire and Medical Operations. I joined the South Salt Lake Fire Department in March of 1980 as a Volunteer Firefighter. In December of 1980 I was hired full-time and worked up through the ranks until my promotion in 2000 when I was appointed to the office of Deputy Fire Chief.
I am proud to say that I was born and raised in this wonderful City of South Salt Lake and look forward to going to work each day to serve the fine residents and business owners of this community. The Fire Department cares for each and every one of you and your safety. We appreciate the love and concern you show us daily.
