The City of South Salt Lake has established local ordinances, called Municipal Codes, which are designed to promote safe and attractive residential neighborhoods and commercial districts. Code Enforcement will assure compliance to these codes, including adopted County health regulations, in a timely, responsible, fair and impartial manner.
The purpose of Code Enforcement is to promote the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of South Salt Lake, to maintain the property values of the city, to preserve residential areas against hazardous and deteriorating conditions, and to deter crime.
If you have a complaint, question, or concern regarding an issue of an ordinance nature, please call the Code Enforcement Complaint Hotline at 464-6712. Be certain to leave your name and phone number, as well as the reason for your call, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
